A judge had found probable cause that crimes had been committed. You may know the company from two 2023 documentaries, Netflix's "Escaping Twin Flames" and Amazon's "Desperately Seeking Soulmate." It was run by a couple from Michigan, Jeff and Shaleia Divine. Former members say they were charged thousands of dollars for courses. It takes a real idea, that relationships show us our own patterns, and bends it until another adult's choices become your report card. The trap has a business model. If his return depends on your inner work, and he hasn't returned, then you need more of it. More of it costs money. Nobody ever graduates. Follow it far enough and it stops being sad and starts being dangerous. The Netflix series includes a former Stanford researcher the film calls Elle. The account given there: a man had a restraining order against Elle, and the group said he was Elle's twin flame, that the order "wasn't real," and to break it. Elle was later arrested for stalking. That is where "manifest your person" ends up when nobody stops it. Here's the part almost nobody says out loud. You cannot manifest another person's readiness. He builds it or he doesn't, on his own time, with his own effort. Your healing is real, and it matters to your life. It just doesn't reach across town and rearrange his. "If it were meant to be, wouldn't it have happened by now?" I asked myself that for fourteen months. Five times a date came and went, and five times I bought another reading instead of asking what the missed date was telling me. It took my friend Rosalind to say it plainly: "He's not coming, honey, and frankly you've gotten boring." I didn't speak to Rosalind for a month. Right on both counts, and the second one stung worse. A delay is not a denial. It isn't a verdict on you either. Some timing simply isn't yours to set, and the people selling you a way to set it are selling a calendar. "But if I heal enough, he'll feel it." That might be the most expensive sentence in this whole industry. I paid $2,400 for a different version of it, the one with a date attached. Am I telling you inner work is a scam? I'd be out of a job, and I'd be wrong. Healing changes how you love, what you accept, and who you let back in. It works on you. It does not work on him. Two people, two different departments. So what does trust look like, if it isn't waiting with your eyes closed? It looks active. It's finishing the degree, booking the trip, saying yes to Friday dinner, while the part of the story that belongs to him stays with him. My mother called nine years of waiting faith. Faith with your feet still is a long pause. Faith with your feet moving is a life. And if the timing never comes, letting go will not mean you failed. It will be an answer, and a complete one. Ask yourself Where have I been treating his choices as a grade on my healing? Which part of my life have I paused until I am "healed enough"? What would I do this week if his readiness were not my job? One thing to do today Take a sheet of paper and draw two columns, Mine and His. Under Mine, write your sleep, your work, your friends, your healing. Under His, write his choices, his timing, his readiness. Cross out anything you have been carrying from the second column, then spend tonight on one line from the first. My healing is mine. His decision is his. Trust the timing.
